Taylor Laymon

Taylor Laymon, originally from Winston-Salem, NC, serves as the Family Engagement Specialist for the Mid-Cumberland Region, joining FESPED in January 2024. With six years of experience as a diverse learning teacher, Taylor is dedicated to bridging the gap between families, schools, and advocacy groups in supporting students with disabilities. She takes pride in connecting them to resources and services that enhance accessibility and success in the school environment. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time outdoors with her dog. She wishes more people were aware of the abundant resources and support available through FESPED and The Arc, aiming for greater equity and access for students with disabilities in schools.
