The Family Engagement in Special Education Project (FESPED), through The Arc Tennessee, has been working with the TN Department of Education on increasing family engagement in Special Education since 2018. When the TN-TAN Network was formed, our group was looped in as a support to the various contracted agencies to make sure their professional development and materials were always considered through the family lens when appropriate. We are also here to support schools and districts in the same way!
