Family Engagement Networking Night with AnLar

Jun 29, 2022 | Blog, Early Childhood/TEIS

The Arc of Tennessee’s Family Engagement Team hosts a monthly networking group for families involved in Special Education across the state of Tennessee. These meetings take place on the last Tuesday of the month and will cover a variety of topics ranging from early childhood education through transitions to adulthood.

We were excited to be joined by AnLar, a Tennessee Technical Assistance Network (TN-TAN) vendor, who is supporting districts statewide to increase preschool access. AnLar presented what they are currently doing with districts to increase family engagement in preschool and offer key strategies for families to meaningfully engage with their child’s school. AnLar also overviewed the transition process for young children receiving early intervention services and answered questions about preschool special education.
